Are You a “Foodie”

Are you one of those types that LIKES to try new foods, doesn’t get freaked out about chicken feet, strange foods?  Do you download “Bizzare Foods” and drool over the stuff that Andrew Zimmern’s eating, and call him a wimp because he can’t deal with stinky tofu and durian?  Do you wish you were along for the ride with Anthony Bourdain on his  adventures throughout the world?

Well, now there’s a group for you

Michael over at Expatacular- Dongguan Expats site has started the Dongguan Foodies group.  The gathering place for “expats in Dongguan that have an appetite for good eats and a sense of culinary adventure.

Dongguan, because of the influx of people from all over China and many parts of the world, has the luck of having many different cusines represented in our culinary world.  Almost every region of China, plus Italian, Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, British, Brazilian, Vietnamese and even Australian to name a few. Add the surrounding cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and it’s an orgy of food.

Once the group gets enough members, they’ll organize dinner outings and such, a great time to meet some new people and sample some great food.
